[YEP-DC] "Playing to Win: Raising Children in a Competitive Culture" book signing event this Friday @ 6 pm

Come to the Alexandria Barnes & Noble this Friday 10/11 at 6 p.m. for a book signing event with Harvard sociologist and author Hilary Levey Friedman.

Friedman's book "Playing to Win:  Raising Children in a Competitive Culture" is based on her research with 95 families with elementary school-age children involved in competitive chess, dance, and soccer-- and how they think this participation matters for college admissions.
