Yesterday was SPECIAL CONSENSUS day in our area with the band being "on the air" on WAMU early in the day and then in concert in Herndon, Virginia last night. To use old Star Trek parlance, these guys play at warp speed - no lie. Not only are they masters of their instruments but their vocals are masterful as well. They are real people too and know how to have fun. Ask anyone in the audience last night. It was two years ago, almost to the day, when SPECIAL CONSENSUS first visited the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series and it has been tooooo long a wait to see this marvelous band in action again. Once you've experienced their music and fun you're an instant fan. Many thanks to Greg Cahill and all of SPECIAL CONSENSUS and to all who came out last night for the concert. It was a very "special" event by "consensus" --- sorry folks, I had to do it -lol.
