[YEP-DC] JOB - Staff Assistant/Office Manager at Collaborative Communications in DC

Staff Assistant

 Collaborative Communications Group, Inc. is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented professional to play a central role in the work of a thriving, fast-paced strategic and communications consulting firm working to improve public education. The ideal candidate will approach new challenges with the confidence of a creative problem-solver, love to learn and excel at communicating with other busy professionals in a service-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the office operations of a busy 15-person company, handling administrative and financial requests from clients and vendors with a professional, diligent manner;
  • Staff the front desk and answer phones for the company and its partners;
  • Maintain accurate files and records; track all vendor and client relationships;
  • Assist the firm's leadership team with administrative and organizational support; and
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, learning new skills and making a big impact in an intensely cooperative setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a position of trust, handling mission-critical tasks on a deadline
  • Ability to be proactive, anticipate needs and manage multiple activities concurrently
  • An aptitude for technology, including online and social media tools (blog and website experience is valued) as well as standard office and communication software
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Relentless attention to detail 

Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position in our Washington, DC, office.
