[YEP-DC] Development Director - Capital Partners for Education

Overview:

Capital Partners for Education helps motivated low-income students in the Washington, DC area beat the odds to obtain a college education. Working with students throughout high school and college, CPE helps each student tackle the social and academic barriers that can impede their success by building an individualized toolkit of resources and community support.

CPE's transformational impact is extraordinary. In DC's poorest neighborhoods, where many CPE students reside, only five percent of residents earn a college degree. Since 1993, 99% of CPE graduates have entered college, and over 70% of those graduates have completed college on time.  Most participants in the CPE program are first-generation-to-college students. Building on this proven model to chart a successful path to a college degree, CPE's ambitious growth plan is to double the number of students served in the next two years.

Motivated and inspired to help unleash the potential of deserving young people, the CPE team is passionate about helping low-income students fulfill their potential, obtain a college degree, and build successful careers.
