Thanks to IBMA, PineCone and all our friends for a Momentous Week at IBMA's Inaugural Wide Open Bluegrass in Raleigh! Quicksilver Productions would like to send a big thank you to everyone involved in making the move from Nashville to Raleigh such a smooth and successful ride! Deep gratitude goes out to Nancy Cardwell, her hardworking IBMA staff, the Board of Directors, all of the Wide Open Bluegrass Volunteers, along with William Lewis, Jamie Katz and the PineCone Traditional Music Foundation. Congratulations on a job well done! We also want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the California Bluegrass Association, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, and WAMU's Bluegrass Country for their support to the greater bluegrass community in helping make Raleigh feel like home.  Quicksilver is looking forward to riding back to Raleigh in 2014, and we look forward to seeing you there!          Congrats to Quicksilver's Award Winning Stars! Quicksilver Productions is proud to see our Stars shine so bright in Raleigh bringing four IBMA Awards home to the Stable! Mike Munford of Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen was named IBMA's Banjo Player of the Year, bringing long-deserved recognition to a most celebrated banjo player. Chris Luquette of Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen was presented with IBMA's Momentum Award for Instrumentalist of the Year, demonstrating why Dirty Kitchen was a top contender for Instrumental Group of the Year. Town Mountain brought home two IBMA Momentum Awards, the first for Band of the Year with the second honor awarded to lead singer Robert Greer for Vocalist of the Year. The newly established Momentum Awards brings well deserved kudos to one of the hardest working bands in the business, crowning a year of tremendous growth for Town Mountain.
