City Paper Best of D.C. -- Best Place to Volunteer-2nd place
Our young scholars are in need of mentors for the 2012-2013 school year.
Talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.
Only 68% of youth in America graduate from High School, and 23% finish college.
We envision a world where every student's potential and promise is realized, regardless of their circumstances.
Higher Achievement closes the opportunity gap during the pivotal middle school years, and 93% of our graduates go on to college.
By leveraging the power of communities, Higher Achievement's proven model provides a rigorous year-round learning environment, caring role models, and a culture of high expectations, resulting in college-bound scholars with the character, confidence, and skills to succeed.
You can be a part of this amazing change happening in our nation's capital…
I hope you consider joining our learning community, or passing this on to others who you think might be interested.
