[YEP-DC] Join the Fordham Institute this Friday for "Exam Schools: The Ups and Downs of Selective Public High Schools"

This Friday, August 24, join the Fordham Institute for a morning discussion of the merits of America's selective public high schools. Chester E. Finn, Jr. and Jessica Hockett, co-authors of a new book on these "exam schools," will be joined by a pair of D.C.-area educators instrumental in the creation of local selective public schools: Stephen Trachtenberg, president emeritus of George Washington University, and Geoffrey Jones, founding principal of Alexandria's Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Registration is free and open to the public.
