The Community Building Community at The George Washington University is looking for community partner hosts! 

CBC at The George Washington University is a 2 1/2 service program for freshman participants and upperclassmen Guides who serve in cohorts of approximately 6-8 students on August 22nd and 23rd. Each group is sent out to various locations across the District to engage in a variety of projects to serve and work with the community. 

For our program, we would like to explore how the GW CBC program can partner with your organization to plan and facilitate a service project for students to complete on August 22nd between the hours of 9-4pm. (preferably 9-12pm, 1-4pm or the entire day 9-4pm).

The site however does need to be accessible via Metro or bus and we will work closely with you to ensure all appropriate materials and supplies are obtained prior to the day of service

Service projects can be focused on any needs that you may have--very few projects are too big or too small for our student volunteers! 

If you are interested in being a part of this program please contact me as soon as possible and let me know how many cohorts you can host (each cohort is approximately 6-8 students) and what time block works best for your organization.
