[YEP-DC] Join Yep-DC for DCPS Beautification Day!

Join the YEP-DC team as we help out a DCPS school on Saturday, August 24th! Every year, DC Public Schools (DCPS) holds Beautification Day to fix up its schools for the new school year. Established in 2005, DC Public Schools Beautification Day is the annual, official citywide "spruce up" of DC Public Schools and grounds. Last year, more than 4,100 volunteers participated at 105 schools across the city.

We'll be meeting at 8:45am. Wear comfortable clothes that you don't care about getting dirty. For those interested, we will head to Trusty's afterwards for drinks/food.

Date/time: Saturday, August 24th; 9am-1pm

Location: Watkins ES; 420 12th St SE, Washington DC, 20003; Close to Potomac Ave and Eastern Market metro stations
