[YEP-DC] "Maybe What Your Career Needs is a 'Radical Sabbatical'"

New blog post on YEP-DC's Recess!

Jason Lody's career path has been nothing but traditional. He'll open D.C.'s first Hebrew immersion school this fall, but before this, he was a police officer and a priest. He says hiring managers these days are looking for skills. Credentials and experiences are important, of course, but the skills obtained through those credentials and work experience -- even if they aren't the traditional ones expected in a particular career path -- are more important.

Read more of Lody's advice, which he doled out last week at YEP-DC's Edu-Jobs event: http://www.youngedprofessionals.org/1/post/2013/07/maybe-what-your-career-needs-is-a-radical-sabbatical.html
