Jubilee; this cut features Warren Reeder on the dobro, complete with
his patented rubato ending.
This song was covered by the “Queen of Country Music”: Kitty Wells.
It also appeared in The Smithsonian Collection of Classic
Country Music, sung by Hylo Brown . Martina McBride has done
recent versions, one filmed with the Chieftains, on the Opry!
Most of modern country and bluegrass folks associate this song with
the Carter Family, recorded 5/8/34 in Camden N.J.
