What: YEP-DC Give Back to Youth Happy Hour

When: Wednesday, July 31; 6-9 p.m.

Where: Policy in Logan Circle (1904 14^th St NW); Upstairs is reserved for YEP-DC

Many local organizations provide funding, direct education, and enrichment services to DC students — and they are in need of volunteers and supporters.  Attend this happy hour to meet representatives from these organizations and learn about ways you can give back to youth in the greater Washington, DC area.

 

We are also asking attendees to donate a brand new book (suitable for students in grades K-5) to bring with you to the happy hour. Books will be distributed to a school during DCPS Beautification Day in August.

 

As with all our happy hours, you'll also have a chance to meet other young education professionals. This event is free. Extended happy hour: beer, wine, rail drinks, and appetizers for $5.
