About the Internships
The MSA Internship Program is accepting applications from undergraduate college students as well as students enrolled in graduate programs. During the fall, interns will work 10-15 hours per week out of our national office in Washington, DC for 10-12 weeks. Fall interns will start by mid-September and work through the first week of December.
The internships will be great opportunities to work in an engaging environment and gain professional experience while taking classes. In addition to working directly with our staff on engaging projects, interns will benefit from a variety of professional development opportunities including regular staff meetings, participation in discussions on various topics in education, mentorships, and opportunities to network and learn about education policy by attending occasional events in Washington, D.C.
Internships are unpaid; however, interns will receive a prepaid Metro Card for work-related travel. We also are happy to work with your school to complete any paperwork to satisfy course credit or other internship-related requirements.
