[YEP-DC] RSVP for YEP-DC's Give Back to Youth Happy Hour on July 31

Join YEP-DC for a Give Back to Youth Happy Hour on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Policy in Logan Circle (1904 14^th St NW) from 6-9 p.m.

Many local organizations provide funding, direct education, and enrichment services to DC students and they are in need of volunteers and supporters.  Attend this happy hour to meet representatives from Higher Achievement, Generation Hope, Capital Partners for Education and THC-Housing Families, Transforming Lives and to learn about ways you can give back to youth in the greater Washington DC area.

We are also asking attendees to donate a brand new book (suitable for students in grades K-5) to bring with you to the happy hour. Books will be distributed to a school during DCPS Beautification Day in August.

As with all our happy hours, you'll also have a chance to meet other young education professionals. This event is free. Extended happy hour: beer, wine, rail drinks, and appetizers for $5. The upstairs is reserved for YEP-DC.
