The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation, motivated by its mission, focused on the student.
Our four programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.
Founded in 1968, we currently work with 3,461 schools in 143 countries to develop and offer four challenging programmes to over 1,045,000 students aged 3 to 19 years.
The IB organization is currently looking for talented, qualified and experienced teachers to mark exams given to high school students at the end of the year. Be one of the first to play an important role in maintaining the quality of assessment for which the International Baccalaureate has become known worldwide.
Applicants should have:
- a degree or equivalent in the appropriate subject
- recent teaching experience for grades 10-12/university level
Desired qualities:
- knowledge of Spanish/French
- experience of external examining or knowledge of assessment procedure
- knowledge/experience with the IB organization
We are hiring for all subjects, however we are particularly interested in examiners for history, Theory of Knowledge, languages, and the sciences.
The IB organization offers competitive compensation for all our examiners - this is a paid position. In addition, we offer continual training and support that translates to added subject expertise in the classroom.
