Washington Latin Public Charter School is looking for Summer School teachers in the following subjects: Middle School Math, Algebra I, Health, Government, and Keyboarding. Summer School will begin on June 23 and end on August 1 with a holiday on July 4. Depending on the course and grade level, classes range from two hours per day to four. Some classes are full six-week courses, while others are only three. The first session is from June 23 to July 11, while the second is from July 14 to August 1.
-- Washington Latin is a charter school serving grades 5-12 located at 5200 2nd St NW in the old Rudolph Elementary School building, 0.7 miles from the Fort Totten station (Red/Green/Yellow) and accessible by many bus routes. Its mission is to provide a challenging, classical education that is accessible to students throughout the District of Columbia. Students at Washington Latin come from every ward in DC.
