I was talking with someone last night who said that Jimmy hosted a big BG concert in DC in the late 1940s. He said there is a historic plaque in front of a house on Lamont St NW noting this event. I knew Jimmy had a country show on TV in the early 1950s but didn't know of any connection to BG. Thoughts? Thanks.
