[YEP-DC] INVITATION TO VIVA ITALIA: AN INTRODUCTION TO THE CULTURE AND LANGUAGE OF ITALY

KOBE  BRYANT'S  not  the  only  African  American  who  grew up  in Italy.  
Come sample Italian cuisine and learn about Italian culture and language in a relaxed casual atmosphere on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 4:00 pm.
In downtown DC at CASA ITALIANA, 595-1/2 3RD STREET NW (next to Holy Rosary Church) one block from the Judiciary Square Metro station on the Red Line.

DETAILS:               Cooking and Ceramic Workshops, Panel discussions, Presentations and Q & A about Italian language and culture with emphasis on getting more underserved students interested in Italian language and culture. The discussion will be led by Mr. Levi Boateng, an American who has lived in Ghana, West Africa, Italy, and the United States. Fluent in three languages, Mr. Boateng is committed to bridging cultural gaps in the global societies we and our future leaders live in.
