I'm a current School Counselor at a great Pre-K to 8th grade charter school here in Shaw, DC, and we are hosting our annual Career Day! It will be on May 28, 2014 and we are looking for guest presenters to come in for a Q&A discussion with students about your career! Informal, 10-15 minute discussion in the classroom with students, and food is provided :) I have our event flyer attached as well. These students definitely need to be exposed to more great careers and you will be helping the future generations to attain college and career readiness! If interested, please email me at mchen@centercitypcs.org with what time frame between 8AM-3:30PM that you are able to come by (you can come anytime--for thirty minutes, an hour, several hours, etc), and what career you are in.
