Working in the Office of Achievement and Accountability with Baltimore City Schools provides an opportunity to impact education at a critical juncture in time.  As a result of Race to the Top grant, the district is developing, testing, and implementing innovative evaluation systems for teachers, school leaders, and schools that was field tested in 2012-2013 and will be implemented at full scale in 2013-2014.  The systems seek to both identify our most effective teachers, schools, and school leaders as well as provide data-based, tangible, and targeted feedback to guide improvement and professional development. We believe these systems will not only make a positive impact on the 86,000 students in Baltimore City, but also serve as a model for evaluation systems around the country.   The Manager of Teacher Evaluation position plays a primary role in leading the development and implementation of the new teacher evaluation system.  To apply, click the link below.
