As Higher Achievement grows, the core model is continually tested. The core model (what we do and why) is based on researched based best practices, which are also continually changing and deepening. This also has large implications for funding through grants both locally and nationally when proven strategies can be demonstrated. However, our capacity to continue revisions is limited, which may impact development efforts in the future.

The VISTA Member will assist the Manager of Program Quality and Evaluation to implement data-driven, quality assurance measures across Higher Achievement centers. The VISTA member will be responsible for creating systems that will help train Higher Achievement mentors, full-time staff, and summer teachers, edit and finalize a standardized curriculum that can be implemented in all 12 achievement centers, and streamline data collection and reporting. Ultimately, the VISTA will help Higher Achievement use data proactively to prevent academic decline and encourage academic achievement in all of our scholars.
