[YEP-DC] Opportunity to have Graduate Student Board Fellow support your non-profit organization

The GW Net Impact Chapter is excited to announce the fifth year of its Board Fellows program. The Board Fellows program brings valuable business skills to nonprofit organizations in the DC metro area, while exposing graduate students to nonprofit management, operations, and governance. The student Board Fellow serves as a non-voting board member and completes a strategic project designed to further advance the mission of the nonprofit organization.  There is no cost for organizations that participate in the program.

Past Fellows' projects have included:
 - Membership organization benchmarking
 - Board evaluation
 - Analyzing fundraising efforts and donor sources
 - Marketing/communications benchmarking

Net Impact is currently recruiting organizations for participation and aims to have organizations confirmed by early September, for Fellow placements November 2012 – April 2013.  The application deadline for interested organizations is Friday, August 31, 2012.

Please visit www.gwnetimpact.org/home/get-involved/board-fellows/ for more information or contact GWBoardFellows@gmail.com if you have any questions, need more information, or if your organization would like to participate.
