[YEP-DC] Accounting Positions Available at Community Academy PCS

The Dorothy I. Height Community Academy Public Charter School (CAPCS) serves children from preschool through 8th grade on five physical campuses and one virtual campus. CAPCS is currently recruiting for a Grants Accountant & Senior Accountant.

 

The Grants Accountant uses our accounting software to input bills, invoices and other cash requests.   This person will implement the full cycle bill payment process on behalf of Community Academy and uses technology to efficiently track open invoices, coordinating with operations personnel at each campus.  The Accountant will use general ledger reports to submit grant reimbursement workbooks to the Office of State Superintendent of Education and other organizations

The Senior Accountant's role is to provide proper accounting for Community Academy Public Charter School (CAPCS).  The Senior Accountant will manage the day-to-day accounting and financial responsibilities, including monthly closing process, daily and monthly reports, budget to actual reporting and evaluation and ensuring data integrity.
