[YEP-DC] Help plan a walk to make college a reality for DC area teen parents!

Generation Hope is seeking committee members for our first walk to benefit the organization!  Generation Hope is the only community-based nonprofit organization solely focused on college completion for teen parents in the D.C. area and is a rarity across the United States.   In fact, Generation Hope has been recognized by The Washington Post, "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams," and "The Steve Harvey Show" for its innovative work.

The Walk, called "The Hope Stroll," will take place indoors at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex on Saturday, April 5th.  It will be a family-friendly event open to parents and their children (i.e. strollers), but also anyone who wants to walk with us.  We will also have fun, family-friendly vendors, etc.

We are looking for individuals to join the planning committee who want to help in one or more of the following areas:

*Sponsor Recruitment, *Walker Recruitment/Event Promotion, *Pledge Monitoring and Promotion, *Day-Of Logistics, *Vendors, Activities, and Entertainment

The kick-off meeting will take place in September.  Please email Nicole Lynn Lewis at Nicole@supportgenerationhope.org to join the committee.  Please find attached the Welcome Information Sheet for more details.

To visit Generation Hope's website, please go to:  www.supportgenerationhope.org.

Thank you!
