Bluegrassers:
Here is another original song by my friend Fred Moore from Philadelphia. It is not strictly bluegrass per se, but the sentiment, harmonies, and lead guitar double stops are warm to the bluegrass ear. This cut was recorded live at Coolfont Resort in Berkley Springs, W. Va. by John Vengrouskie and SoundScenes, and appeared on a CD entitled “Live at Coolfont”, released during the late 90’s. When Barry, Greg, and I perform together, we are known as “All Mixed Up”.
As all these live performances you receive, there is no overdub or correction of any kind (except sometimes adding a bass); whatever one is able to do on stage, perfect or not, remains forever fossilized into electronic wax.
Musicians include:
Barry Wendell Harmony Vocal & Rhythm Guitar
Greg Nelson Bass
Ed Schaeffer Vocal and Martin Guitar Rhythm & Lead
In this original, Fred Moore is able to weave a lovely story about flying home:
“Back to where the home fires burn
And time ain’t quick to turn”
I hope you enjoy “Got a Ticket”. To listen, just click the URL below:

This is our last Love Song; up next, a cache of Bluegrass Gospel! As always, turn UP and try headphones!
