COMPENSATION: $25 - $35 per hour based on credentials and teaching/tutoring experience (In addition to the hourly rate, tutors are paid to participate in mandatory planning meetings)

1) Your resume needs to be tailored to a TUTORING position and should focus on TUTORING/TEACHING experience. If your resume does not focus on education, then please submit a paragraph which details your experience.
2) Your three (3) references with VALID email addresses, two (2) should be able to comment on your ability to teach/tutor.
3) Indicate which subjects you can tutor.
4) Indicate whether you have the results of a TB test within the last six months which indicate negative TB results and clearance through FBI fingerprinting. You will need to have the results of the TB test prior to the in-person interview.
5) Indicate which location, days and times that you can work.
6) A short writing sample: Describe (in 200 words or less)
a) How you would help a student learn their addition facts while the student won't sit still
b) A very quiet student with low reading confidence improve reading comprehension
c) A petulant, disengaged preteen improve their persuasive writing skills
Please write about ONE scenario: a, b, or c. We intend for this to be a brief writing sample, so we apologize in advance if you can't fit all of your great ideas into this one section!
