[YEP-DC] Job Opportunity: Part-Time Interventionists (Reading & Math) at CAPCS

The Dorothy I. Height Community Academy Public Charter School (CAPCS) serves children from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade, we have four physical campuses and one virtual campus. We have made a commitment to excellence and the expectation of excellence informs all that we do. We offer an academically challenging program rooted in an ethical culture that promotes intellectual curiosity and social and civic responsibility. 

 

Community Academy Public Charter School is seeking two part-time interventionists (one reading, one math) to provide tutoring services for identified students in grades 3-5^th at our Amos 3 campus. Interventionists will work cooperatively with regular classroom teachers, providing targeted and data-driven small group instruction based on these students' abilities and challenges. The position will begin in September and end the beginning of June. Compensation is $35 per hour and interventionists will work between 20 hour per week. The applicant must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least 3 years of upper elementary teaching experience. Familiarity or basic experience with age-appropriate reading and/or math intervention programs is a plus.
