[dcab-l] Slightly off topic

Hi all,

Not, strictly speaking, bluegrass but a question for the old timers
here. Have any of you replaced the foam liner in a road case?

I have a case here that's old and the foam is deteriorating pretty badly
and needs replacement. It's turning into a sticky, gooey mess. I've
managed to get most of it out with a wide putty knife but there's still
a bit stuck on the wooden sides and metal edges of the case interior and
I'm wondering if there's something any of you can suggest for cleaning
that off before I glue in the new foam liners?
