Kindergarten Teachers, Register Now for the KEA Pilot Two-Day Training and Receive an iPad Mini
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) invites kindergarten classroom teachers to participate in a pilot of a kindergarten-entry assessment – Teaching Strategies GOLD. This pilot will inform the needs of teachers and schools regarding the potential use of an observation-based assessment to measure kindergarten readiness. OSSE can accommodate up to 72 teachers from both DCPS and DCPCS. Teachers will be required to participate in two-day training and will receive an iPad mini to support the administration of the assessment. Teachers will also be required to participate in an evaluation of the pilot. See below for a schedule of trainings.
