I'm very happy to say that yesterday I played my first gig since my stroke in October! It wasn't just any gig; I sat in at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival with Dennis Stroughmatt et L'Esprit Creole. I met them during a jam session Friday night at the hotel where the participants are staying. They asked me to fill in because their bass player had to head home Saturday night. I did pretty well considering I heard most of the songs for the first time at the jam!
It's another very special entry on my Bluegrass Resume!! ;-]
