[YEP-DC] Visual Art Judges needed for Center City PCS Annual Visual and Performing Arts Recital

Do you have a background in visual arts? Do you love kids? Do you remember making your first sculpture, coffee filter art, perspective drawing, or watercolor painting? If so, come be a visual art judge for the 2014 Center City PCS Visual and Performing Arts Honors Recital!

Center City Public Charter Schools has six campuses throughout DC (Brightwood, Capitol Hill, Congress Heights, Petworth, Shaw, and Trinidad). Our PreK – 8^th grade students have been working extremely hard to prepare for our annual honor recital and we need help identifying our top projects! These artists have already been recognized as producing the best piece of art in their school and now we want to recognize the best art pieces in the District!

Visual Arts Judging

Monday, June 9th

5:30-6:15pm

THEARC- 1901 Mississippi Ave SE, Washington, DC 20020

 

Judges will be asked to arrive at 5:15pm. We will provide clipboards, rubrics, pens, and AWESOME visual art pieces.   

 

**Note: Due to the nature of the event, a degree or job in a visual arts related field is required.  Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in serving some of the city's COOLEST and most CREATIVE young artists!
