The District of Columbia (DC) Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is seeking applications for its Fellowship for Urban Education Leaders (FUEL) program.
FUEL is a program designed to provide exemplary educators the opportunity to shape State activities and policies around English Language Learners, immigrant students, and their families in the District of Columbia. The five-week program, July 1-31, places outstanding educators in the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) ESEA Title III, Part A (Title IIIA) Program. Title IIIA is also known as the English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, and Academic Achievement Act of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act.
Fellows who successfully completed the program will receive a $2,000 stipend.
Email OSSE.Title3@dc.gov for questions using "FUEL Application" as the subject line.
