As a supporter of the Chavez Schools, I invite you to join us in celebrating the work of three outstanding senior scholars as they present and defend thesis findings written on some of our nation's most pressing public policy issues on Friday, June 6th.
The Chavez Schools are committed to a very ambitious mission: to prepare scholars to succeed in competitive colleges and to empower them to use the critical thinking and problem solving skills born from a rigorous public policy curriculum to create a more just, free, and equal world.
Now in its third year, the Chavez Schools Public Policy Symposium Illustrates the powerful impact of the school's dual mission, and provides a highly inspirational and educational experience for both attendees and scholars. The Chavez Schools believe strongly in student voice, join me, local and national policy makers, civic leaders, and business leaders to witness these voices in action.
Please find attached further information about Chavez Schools, their unique public policy mission and the symposium. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Ashlee Lawson, Marketing Manager at symposium@chavezschools.org
· Learn more and RSVP at chavezschools.org/symposium2014.
· Spread the word! Feel free to forward the invitation widely!
