Generation Hope is an innovative non-profit organization that supports teen parents who are working towards their college degrees in the DC metro area by providing them with tuition assistance as well as one-on-one mentoring support.
Please join Generation Hope and our Honorary Chairman, Mayor Jeffrey Slavin of Somerset, as we host our third fun-filled and elegant evening to celebrate another amazing year of the Scholar Program, including 21 young mothers on their way to a degree and a new class of scholars joining us in the 2014-2015 academic year!
Help us show our pride! Alison Starling WJLA_TV News Anchor is our Emcee. Sarah Jakes (daughter of Bishop T. D. Jakes), author of "Lost and Found" and "Colliding with Destiny" is our Keynote Speaker. The night's theme will couple college spirit with glitz and glam, so get ready to pull out your favorite college memorabilia and wear it along with your best attire. Save-the-date and prepare to celebrate our great work! You can expect great food, good company, dancing, and more!
