CAPCS Educator Job Fair

Dorothy I. Height Community Academy Public Charter Schools (CAPCS) is seeking talented educators who believe that all children can achieve at the highest levels to join our team.  Come meet our Academy Leaders, Instructional Coaches, and Teachers to learn how your skills can help us achieve our vision of EXCELLENCE! WHEN:           Wednesday, May 14 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

WHERE:         1351 Nicholson Street, NW, Washington, DC

OPENINGS IN:

• Early Childhood — Pre-K3, Pre-K4 and Kindergarten
• Elementary – Grades 1^st – 5^th
• Special Education (Elementary)
• English Language Learners (Elementary)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Elementary Education or equivalent, Master's degree preferred

·         Have taken and passed the Praxis II exam in the appropriate content area preferred.

• Highly qualified status (HQ) as defined by Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE)
• At least two (2) years of experience working with young children
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with a diverse and energetic team of educators.
• DC Teaching Certification preferred
