This month, Chavez Schools is looking for volunteers to judge the We the People competitions. Our 8th and 12th grade Scholars prepare for a local competition in which they demonstrate their understanding of the US Constitution by arguing whether certain policies and practices are constitutional. To determine which groups attend the local competition, Scholars first compete before panel of judges from the community. We need judges to determine the winner at each of our campuses:
-- - Thursday, January 9th 8:30am-11am @ Parkside High School (3701 Hayes St, NE)
- Friday, January 10th 8:30am-11am @ Capitol Hill Campus (709 12th St, SE)
- Thursday, January 23rd 8:30am-11am @ Parkside Middle School (3701 Hayes St, NE)
- Wednesday, January 29th 8:30am-11am @ Prep Middle School (770 Kenyon St, NW)
