[YEP-DC] Vacancy Announcement: Chavez Schools

The Mission of Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy is to prepare scholars to succeed in competitive colleges and to empower them to use public policy to create a more just, free, and equal world. We accomplish our mission by challenging our students with a rigorous college prep and public policy curriculum – focusing on real-world public policy experiences – that fosters critical and disciplinary thinking, deep knowledge of our country’s founding principles, and strong advocacy skills.

To help us ensure a high quality community of teachers, we are looking for a super-driven Recruitment Specialist to support the recruitment and selection efforts of our HR Department.  This person will source and screen teacher-candidates and work with campus leaders to coordinate on-site visits. Additionally, our Recruitment Specialist will support on-boarding efforts which include salary negotiation, formal offers, and managing new hire paperwork.

This is a seasonal position to start immediately with an anticipated end date around the end of June 2014.

Requisites: Bachelor's degree, SUPER smart, organized, prior recruitment/selection experience (in a school setting definitely a plus), crazy-high energy level, experience in high stakes environment.
