The Mission of Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy is to prepare scholars to succeed in competitive colleges and to empower them to use public policy to create a more just, free, and equal world. We accomplish our mission by challenging our students with a rigorous college prep and public policy curriculum – focusing on real-world public policy experiences – that fosters critical and disciplinary thinking, deep knowledge of our country’s founding principles, and strong advocacy skills.
-- To help us ensure a high quality community of teachers, we are looking for a super-driven Recruitment Specialist to support the recruitment and selection efforts of our HR Department. This person will source and screen teacher-candidates and work with campus leaders to coordinate on-site visits. Additionally, our Recruitment Specialist will support on-boarding efforts which include salary negotiation, formal offers, and managing new hire paperwork.
This is a seasonal position to start immediately with an anticipated end date around the end of June 2014.
Requisites: Bachelor's degree, SUPER smart, organized, prior recruitment/selection experience (in a school setting definitely a plus), crazy-high energy level, experience in high stakes environment.
