UTC is one of the most rigorous alternative teacher preparation programs in the country. UTC accepts applicants from all majors and all ages for its four year program which serves some of the nation's neediest schools in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. All participants get a 15 month residency, a full-scholarship for two master's degrees, over 20 one-on-one coaching sessions over three years and job placement.
