Are you ready to SERVE?
Well come out to PAUL PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL on Monday, January 20, 2014 for a Day of Service in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dr. King said, "Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve." I'd like to invite you to make January 20--Martin Luther King, Jr. Day-a "day on" and join us and hundreds of volunteers in community service with City Year. We will transform Paul PCS along with two other DC schools into more engaging, educational and vibrant places for students to learn and play. Service projects will include painting, light construction and organization projects. Families and young kids are welcome.
The service projects begin at 8:30 a.m. at Coolidge High School (6315 5th Street NW in Washington, DC) and registration is required.
PLEASE NOTE- Once you are registered at Coolidge, you will make your way over to PAUL PCS for the service projects for the day. Paul PCS is located a few blocks away from Coolidge. Please ensure you have transportation from the registration site to the School. We are located at 5800 8th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20011.
