Might I suggest putting a fun local festival on your calendar and start thinking of and planning for all the fun we will have this coming year...
Put on your calendars THE LOUDOUN BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL -- for Saturday, May 10, 2014 out in Leesburg, VA. We will have Sierra Hull and her hot band doing shows and workshops as well as Bud's Collective and many more hot musicians and acts. Band contests, Individual pickin contests. Raffles to win great fun stuff like a brand new Eastman mandolin, Smithsonian Folkways CDs, and more. A barn dance with Janine Smith calling.. Loads of places inside and outside for striking up one's own jam sessions. Led jams. etc etc. Kids arts and crafts and kids bluegrass shows. All profits going to local kids scholarships, homeless kids, and Special Olympics. Write it down now so you make sure to not miss the fun. Advanced tickets will also only be $15 for the whole day of fun! We should have the website up to date at some point soon...
