Make a positive impact on a child in your city by becoming a Student Success Coach with Center City Public Charter Schools!
*Do you care about helping the next generation succeed in school and beyond?
*Do you find yourself wishing you could do more to improve education for all children?
*Are you looking to learn more about urban education and meeting the needs of all learners?
*Have you considered a career in education and would like an opportunity to learn and grow in the field?
If so, we need your help! Center City Public Charter Schools is looking for committed Student Success Coaches to tutor and mentor our students for at least one hour every week.
We currently need Coaches to assist in our Extended Learning Program for the fall semester at the following campuses:
*Tuesdays, 4:30 - 5:30, Trinidad Campus (1217 West Virginia Ave. NE)
*Wednesdays, 4:30 - 5:30, Capitol Hill Campus (1503 East Capitol Street SE)
*Wednesdays, 4:30 - 5:30, Congress Heights Campus (220 Highview Place SE)
*Thursdays, 4:30 - 5:30, Petworth Campus (510 Webster St NW)
A $150 stipend is provided for the fall tutoring sessions (October 28 - December 13) and the MANDATORY orientation to be held on Friday, October 25 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. To ensure consistency in the lives of our students, Coaches are only permitted to miss one session per semester.
Student Success Coaches demonstrating a strong performance on behalf our students in the fall will be invited to continue with us in the spring semester. Top performers will also have access to additional opportunities for paid summer internships at our Central Office or campuses.
