[YEP-DC] DC Public Education Fund Spring and Summer Internship Openings

DC Public Education Fund (the Education Fund) is seeking talented graduate and experienced undergraduate students to assist in our mission to dramatically improve student achievement in the District of Columbia by serving as a strategic partner to businesses, foundations, community leaders, and individual donors in supporting and investing in high-impact programs with the District of Columbia Public Schools.

Positions:
Spring Graduate Intern: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Communications & Events, the intern will support the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications and messaging strategy to raise awareness and support for projects that are part of the DCPS' system-wide reform initiatives. The internship is 15-20 hours/week and runs January - May.  Experience in communications or public relations preferred. 

Summer Graduate Intern: Reporting to the Director of Operations, the summer graduate intern will work in close consultation with the Director of Operations and Executive Director on strategic development of new projects and programs.  Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to contribute to additional two long-term projects based on the intern's interests and staff needs. 

Summer Undergraduate Intern: Reporting to the Director of Operations, the summer undergraduate intern will support the Education Fund team's fundraising work by assisting the team in maintaining record-keeping systems and files for existing major donors, assembling profiles, and compiling research on existing and potential funders for DCPS programs and initiatives. Additionally, the Undergraduate Development Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to one to two long-term projects based on the intern's interests and staff needs.
