Dear McMillan Neighbors, As you may know, DC Water and District government officials announced plans last week to address flooding in the Bloomingdale & LeDroit neighborhoods adjacent to the proposed McMillan redevelopment site. The flooding situation is a significant issue that must be addressed and we are glad to see that action is being taken. Many of you have discussed this issue with our team at numerous community meetings.  We are pleased to see that the District government is focused on resolving the problem. We did want to make you aware that DC Water's proposal will have an impact on McMillan redevelopment. We are in the process of determining how the vision can still be realized given the DC Water storage and construction components. As we move forward, we will keep you updated with VMP's development plans. VMP continues to look forward to activating this unique historic asset and making McMillan a vibrant part of our community.
