[dcab-l] Basic Bluegrass Workshop TODAY - - - A reminder

The basic Bluegrass Workshop in Manassas is today at 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.

8963 Center St, Manassas (east end of Olde Town) at NOVA Music Center.  Bring your instruments (fiddle, mando, banjo, bass, guitar, jug - - Ah! No, no don't bring the jug!)

Do you know only three chords? You are IN!! You can accompany about 2500 tunes! (You didn't know that?)

This is not a jam.  It is an analysis of the structure and performance of Bluegrass music with FIVE instructors and a "hands-on" learning experience for you. A tiny bit of Bluegrass music background information mixed in.

If you are just getting interested in Bluegrass music and want to learn "what's going on" and get to know some other people who are in the same boat, this is the workshop for you.

If you have gone to jams and found that you just couldn't quite figure it all out, this is the workshop for you.

Last minute contact:  Bull Run Bluegrass Music Association (Bruce Gair at 703-407-2327)

Did we mention that it is FREE? (except for a materials charge of $5 for kids and $10 for adults)

It is probably going to rain anyway so get inside and learn Bluegrass!!

PASS THE WORD TO YOUR FRIENDS, ESPECIALLY TEENAGERS. A great opportunity for them in a non-pressure situation.
