Those of us at the DC Bluegrass Union jam at the O St Mansion this past Sunday got to meet Clare when she helped her dad sing several bluegrass songs. She did a fine job. I'm sure you'll enjoy her playing and singing this weekend at Lucketts.

As part of the Lucketts Youth Spotlight Program, an exceptional new entry to the bluegrass scene, 5 year old Clare Brown, will open the show with a special fiddle performance. Clare competed in the fiddle contest at the 2012 Loudoun Bluegrass Festival to a thundering ovation. In addition she has sat in with other performers at the Institute of Musical Traditions. Clare's performance could be an "I saw her perform at Lucketts when . . . . " for those who see her Saturday.
