Job Description: ToPPP Grant Program Assistant

 

The ToPPP Grant Program Assistant will provide administrative support to realize the objectives of the ToPPP grant, a Race to the Top grant awarded to a consortium of seven schools (public charter and DCPS) in the Washington, D.C. educational community.   The Program Assistant will report to the Senior Program Manager and the grant lead. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

1.      Communicate and build relationships with key stakeholders involved in the grant including vendors, teachers, school leaders, community members, and families

2.      Assist and support the process of contracting and managing vendor relationships

3.      Organize and support all aspects of grant-related events

4.      Support initiatives and programs that will realize the grant's objectives according to the needs of the professional learning community

5.      Assist with grant expansion over time to include additional schools in year 2

6.      Assist with grant-related data collection and analysis

7.      Assist in creating and maintaining grant-related online instructional resources

8.      Assist in maintaining compliant grant budgets

9.      Provide administrative support to the Senior Program Manager as needed

14.  Able to multi-task and work under a deadline

 

Qualifications

1.      Bachelor's degree (Education/Social Sciences focus preferred, Master's preferred)

2.    Passion for/knowledge education reform
