Partner with the Presidential Inaugural Committee for the National Day of Service

Four years ago, President Obama and his family opened the 2009 inauguration with a new tradition; a National Day of Service.  Now, on the eve of his second inauguration, President Obama is once again calling on Americans across the country to join him and his family in giving back to our communities.  Here is how your nonprofit can help; PARTNER with PIC and host a service event on the National Day of Service!

The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) is seeking applications from DC nonprofits who are interested in partnering with PIC to host a service project on the National Day of Service - Saturday, January 19, 2013. Nonprofits and community groups that apply for PIC partnership and obtain approval may receive: 

Recognition from PIC as a nonprofit partner on National Day of Service
1. PIC assistance coordinating your nonprofit's service event; and an
Event listing on the PIC website.

The goal is to involve 8,000 DC residents/visitors in volunteering on January 19, 2013 for the National Day of Service.  Together we can reach this goal; please APPLY TODAY.
