[YEP-DC] Volunteer at the PCS Expo on January 5!

Dear Charter School Supporters:

We need your help to connect charter schools with DC families and prospective teachers!

The DC Public Charter School Expo brings together the local charter schools, parents,prospective teachers, and community members, allowing them to make better-informed school decisions.  It's a fantastic resource for parents and teachers and a great opportunity to give your time on behalf of education – be sure you don't miss out! 

We need volunteers to help set up and register vendors in the morning, as well as register families and help them navigate the information in the afternoon.  This is a great opportunity to get involved with education in DC and to ensure that parents have all the information they need to make the best choices for their kids.    

 

WHAT: 4th Annual DC Public Charter School Expo

WHO: FOCUS, PCSB, & DCACPS

WHEN: Saturday, January 5, 2012; 6:00 am – 5:30 pm

WHERE: Washington Convention Center

 

Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:

7:00 am – 11:30 am: Set Up and School/Vendor Registration

11:00 am – 4:00 pm: Family Registration/Main Exhibition

3:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Break-down
