Do you care about helping the next generation succeed in school and beyond? Do you find yourself wishing you could do more to improve education for children in your community? If so, we need your help! Center City Public Charter Schools is working with Reading Partners (http://www.readingpartners.org/about-us) to provide 1-on-1 reading tutoring for struggling students. The Reading Partners program trains volunteers and provides a curriculum so that volunteers are best able to be successful tutors and mentors. The time commitment is only one hour, once a week, but the impact on these young people will be immeasurable! When? Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 9:45 and 10 to 10:45
Commitment? 1 to 4 hours per week from October 9th until December 6th
Compensation? $14/hour stipend
