The KIPP Foundation is seeking a KIPP Through College (KTC) Training Manager to join our National KTC team. S/he will be responsible for coordinating all national professional development services provided to the KTC community across the network, ensuring alignment of messaging and content. This person will also be responsible for developing and delivering a differentiated scope and sequence of professional development to the KTC community. The KTC Training Manager will work closely with our partner organizations to bring member benefits and student resources to the community as well. The Training Manager will also play a key role in the sharing of best practices, helpful documents, resources, and tools.
The person we're looking for will have:
- Experience/expertise in promoting college matriculation and persistence among K-12 students in the U.S. Ideally this person will have experience working with students, parents, and educators in low-income communities and will bring contacts and credibility in the college access community.
- Demonstrated results functioning as a catalyst, coach, and doer. We will also target people with experience facilitating learning sessions across a wide array of audiences.
- Built strong relationships, with the ability to gain confidence from and work closely with multiple sets of stakeholders.
We're looking for someone with a minimum 5 years relevant experience, ideally in higher education or college access organizations.
